ACP 510 - A compact 1-RU platform, offered with an extensive suite of I/O modules for enhanced connectivity. As a multi-protocol access router- gateway, it offers protocol mediation and terminal adaptation services for asynchronous, packet mode and IP devices in conjunction with IP filters, and weighted priority mechanisms for forwarding traffic over its LAN/WAN network interfaces. The ACP 510 may be used in secure infrastructures; as a peer VPN node using IPSec over serial or Ethernet based WAN interfaces, as an SSL/TLS VPN gateway or as an L2TP LNS server. The ACP 510 features a Tcl/Tk scripting engine for enhanced monitoring and diagnostics, a Telnet/SSH server for secured management and comprehensive signal and trace capabilities on all its physical and virtual interfaces.

The ACP 510 base unit supports up to two serial WAN ports and up to 10 serial asynchronous ports plus two 10/100 Base/T LAN interfaces. Its I/O subsystem may be expanded using optional communication modules; a 56/64Kbps DSU/CSU, a T1/E1 DSU/CSU, a dial-in/dial-out V34 modem and an 8-port Asynchronous module. The unit is offered with an integrated 48VDC or an 100/250VAC power supply.
